Arrival: Airport - Arusha lodge

At 08:00–08:30, your driver-guide will meet you at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport for a quick safety orientation, vehicle demo, and itinerary overview. At 09:00, enjoy a scenic 50-minute transfer to your Arusha lodge, passing coffee plantations and Maasai countryside. By 09:50, you’ll check in, unpack, and prepare your safari gear. At 10:30, attend a 20-minute "Conservation 101" session introducing Tanzania’s ecosystems and wildlife etiquette. From 11:00 to 17:30, spend the afternoon at leisure—relax by the pool or explore Arusha town (lunch not included). At 17:30, enjoy a sundowner with light snacks and mocktails while previewing Day 1. Dinner is on your own at 19:00 at the lodge restaurant, followed by an early rest.

Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire Nationa Park

At 06:30, enjoy sunrise tea delivered to your room, followed by a hearty breakfast at 07:00 with eggs, porridge, fruit, and pastries. Depart at 08:00 for a 2½-hour (125 km) drive to Tarangire National Park, with boxed lunches and bottled water provided. From 10:30 to 13:00, go on a morning game drive to see elephants, baobabs, lions, and birdlife. At 13:00, enjoy a picnic lunch under acacia trees with grilled chicken or a vegetarian bake, salads, fruit, and soft drinks. The afternoon game drive runs from 14:00 to 16:30 and includes a 15-minute floodplain ecology chat. At 17:30, check into your lodge with a cold-towel welcome and freshen up. At 18:30, enjoy tea and snacks as the sun sets. Dinner is served at 19:30—a three-course meal featuring local specialties.

Day 2: Tarangire - Serengeti via Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Start your day with sunrise tea and a geology briefing at 06:30, followed by breakfast and packing at 07:00. At 08:00, depart for a 3-hour (≈180 km) drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ascending to the rim. From 10:00 to 10:20, stop at a crater viewpoint for panoramic photos. Between 10:20 and 11:20, enjoy optional visits to a Maasai Boma (+ USD 15 pp) or Olduvai Gorge (+ USD 20 pp). From 11:20 to 14:00, travel through Naabi Hill Gate into Serengeti, with boxed lunch en route and wildlife sightings. From 14:00 to 17:00, enjoy your first Serengeti game drive to spot giraffes, buffalo, and zebras. At 17:00, arrive at camp for a welcome drink, cold towels, and orientation. At 18:30, unwind with a bush sundowner on a scenic kopje. Dinner begins at 19:30—a family-style buffet under the stars.

Day 3: Full-day game drives in the Serengeti

At 06:00, wake-up tea is delivered to your tent, followed by a morning game drive from 06:30 to 10:00 to track big cats, herds, and visit "Hatari" filming sites. At 10:00, enjoy a 15-minute conservation talk on migration dynamics, followed by a break from 10:15 to 11:00 with tea, coffee, and pastries. Continue the safari from 11:00 to 13:00, photographing crocodile pools, ostriches, and leopards. Lunch is served picnic-style from 13:00 to 14:00 in a shaded clearing with wraps, salads, fruit, and soft drinks. Another afternoon drive runs from 14:00 to 16:30, exploring riverine and woodland habitats. At 17:00, return to camp for a debrief of the day's sightings. Dinner at 19:00 includes a multi-course meal, followed by optional stargazing and storytelling around the campfire.

Day 4: Continued Serengeti drives - overnight in Ngorongoro area

Start at 05:30 with sunrise tea at your tent, followed by a final Serengeti morning game drive from 06:00 to 10:00, ideal for spotting early predator activity. At 10:00, pause for a 15-minute ecology chat on the Crater Highlands. From 10:15 to 11:00, enjoy mid-morning tea, coffee, and biscuits before the 3-hour (150 km) transit to the Ngorongoro area. Arrive at your lodge at 14:00 for check-in and optional nature trail walks until 17:00. At 17:30, gather for tea and a route review of the next day’s crater descent. Dinner is served at 19:00 with a three-course farm-to-table menu.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater full-day game drive - return to Arusha

Enjoy a final sunrise tea at 06:30 and breakfast at 07:00 (buffet or boxed). Begin your crater descent and game drive at 08:00, lasting until 12:30—look for black rhinos, hippos, flamingos, and lions. At 12:30, enjoy a boxed picnic lunch by a hippo pool. From 13:30 to 15:30, continue your safari and ascend from the crater. At 15:30, begin the return drive to Arusha (180 km/3½ h), arriving in the evening. Dinner is on your own; overnight at the lodge.
