Detailed Itinerary

From 08:00 to 08:30, your driver-guide will meet and greet you at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, offering a brief safety orientation and trip overview. At 09:00, you’ll enjoy a scenic 50-minute transfer through coffee plantations and Maasai countryside, arriving at your Arusha lodge by 09:50 for check-in, unpacking, and safari gear preparation. At 10:30, you’ll attend a 20-minute “Conservation 101” session introducing Tanzania’s ecosystems and wildlife etiquette. From 11:00 to 17:30, enjoy leisure time or explore Arusha town (lunch not included). At 17:30, enjoy a sundowner with light snacks and a preview of the next day. At 19:00, dinner is on your own at the lodge restaurant, followed by an early rest.

At 06:30, sunrise tea will be delivered to your room, followed by a 07:00 breakfast buffet with eggs, porridge, fruit, and pastries. At 08:00, depart for a 2½-hour (125 km) drive to Tarangire National Park with boxed lunches and bottled water. From 10:30 to 13:00, embark on a morning game drive to spot elephants, baobabs, tree-climbing lions, and colorful birds. Lunch is served picnic-style from 13:00 to 14:00 under acacia trees. Continue your wildlife viewing from 14:00 to 16:30, including a 15-minute talk on floodplain dynamics. At 17:30, check into your camp and freshen up, followed by tea and snacks at 18:30. Dinner is served at 19:30 with a three-course meal of local specialties.

At 06:30, start your day with sunrise tea and a briefing on forest and lake habitats, followed by breakfast and packed lunches at 07:00. At 08:00, depart on a 2-hour (120 km) drive to Lake Manyara National Park. From 10:00 to 13:00, enjoy a game drive with a forest walk for colobus monkeys and birdlife, then follow the hippo trail. Picnic lunch is from 13:00 to 14:00 at a shaded site. Continue with an afternoon drive from 14:00 to 16:30, bird-watching along the lake shore. At 17:00, check into your lodge, relax, and then gather at 18:30 for tea and a Serengeti route preview. Dinner is served at 19:30 with a buffet of local dishes.

At 06:30, begin with sunrise tea and a map review of the crater and Serengeti route. Breakfast and boxed lunches are ready by 07:00, and you depart at 07:30. Between 07:30 and 09:30, enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a photo stop and optional visit to a Maasai boma (+USD 15 pp) or Olduvai Gorge (+USD 20 pp). From 09:30 to 13:30, transit 200 km to Serengeti via Naabi Hill Gate, stopping from 11:30 to 12:30 for lunch en route. Begin your Serengeti game drive from 12:30 to 16:30, spotting giraffes, buffalo, and zebra herds. At 17:00, arrive at camp for check-in, welcome drinks, and cold towels. Enjoy a bush sundowner at 18:30 atop a kopje with snacks and mocktails, then dinner under the stars at 19:30.

At 05:30, wake-up tea is delivered to your tent, and by 06:00, you’re on a morning game drive to witness predators at dawn and migrating herds. At 10:00, join a 15-minute conservation chat on migration ecology, followed by a mid-morning break from 10:15 to 11:00 with tea, coffee, and pastries. Continue the safari from 11:00 to 13:00, exploring different habitats and visiting “Hatari” filming sites. Enjoy a packed lunch on location from 13:00 to 14:00, then drive 150 km for 3 hours to the Ngorongoro Highlands. Arrive at your lodge by 17:00 and take an optional nature walk. At 18:30, relax with tea and review the next day’s crater plans. Dinner is served at 19:30 with fresh local produce.

Begin your day with sunrise tea at 06:30, followed by breakfast at 07:00 (buffet or boxed). At 08:00, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive until 12:30, searching for black rhinos, hippos, flamingos, and lions. From 12:30 to 13:30, enjoy a picnic lunch by a hippo pool. Then continue your final crater safari from 13:30 to 15:30, looking for hyenas, waterbuck, and buffalo before ascending the crater. Return to Arusha between 15:30 and 19:00 (180 km/3½ h). Dinner is on your own, and overnight at your lodge.

Spend the morning at leisure—enjoy breakfast, pack your bags, or do some souvenir shopping. At 11:00, your driver will transfer you to Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport based on your flight schedule. A packed breakfast is available for early departures.
