The day begins with a briefing on the Ngorongoro Crater’s geology before heading into the Conservation Area. Optional cultural visits to a Maasai Boma or the Olduvai Gorge provide enriching stops. Entering Serengeti via Naabi Hill Gate, guests enjoy a game drive before checking in at a safari camp, ending the day with a sundowner on a kopje and dinner under the stars.

An early morning game drive reveals Serengeti’s active predators and migrating herds, followed by a conservation chat and riverside tea break. Guests then enjoy lunch on the go and drive to the crater highlands. Upon arrival at the lodge, the evening includes an optional nature walk, trip recap, and a relaxed dinner.

The day is dedicated to descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Guests explore this wildlife haven in search of rhinos, lions, flamingos, and more. After a picnic lunch near a hippo pool and a final crater safari, the group returns to Arusha Lodge for a restful overnight stay.
